Analysis: Duality pt1

For those of you who don't know, Duality is the tentative name that I have given to my upcoming novel. The duality of characters and situations is one of the central themes of the novel. By that I mean that one does not have to be a bad person to do something bad- there are at least two sides to every story.

When coming up with this idea I thought about a world where no one is innocent and where no one appears to be worth of living. But when you look closer you get to understand why they do what they do and what caused them to become the way they are now. But how can you judge a person's actions in a world where survival is as good as it gets. In this book no one is good or evil but everyone has a role a play and they will fight to ensure that they do all they can for their survival no matter who is hurt in the process.

Seeing as how I am probably at least a year from completing it I will not let too much of the story line slip but this is one of the major undertones of the novel
